The Ingredients
Copper & Amyris
fine perfumery meets chandlery
A note from our perfumer..
"I wanted to think of this smell in a very realistic way - the clash of hearth smells with the fruitiness of port; the scent of dry paper against wet snowflakes hitting the windows. I was keen to stay away from the typical cinnamon accords, instead choosing to blend cassia bark with incense (Boswellia Seratta), clove bud, Curcuma and cashmere materials. The fragrance is quite complex and definitely not 'minimalist' - I wanted to suggest abundance and elegance."
here is where the magic happens..
Our ingredient selection

1
Amyris
Originates from Haiti and is steam distilled from the wood of the tree. This sweet, woody scent can be used for relaxation and to reduce anxiety.

2
Labdanum Absolute
From rock rose, this creates an amber note to give an extra warmth. It's lovely rich golden colour is what makes the diffuser blends come out a stunning copper colour.

3
Clearwood
This molecule won a prize for innovation it’s that good! A woody ingredient, commended for it’s sustainability (made from sugarcane waste!) and for it’s unique olfactive character.

4
Rose Absolute
It takes a whole kilogram of rose petals to make just one gram of rose absolute, now that's a lot of roses! You'll find a very good measure of rose in here, but don't be fooled as this is not a delicate scent.

5
Frankincense
Extracted from the resin of the boswellia tree, this has been one of the most precious, sought after oils since ancient times. This rich, woody scent promotes feelings of peace, relaxation and wellness.

6
Sweet Orange
The indulgent richness of this blend is lightened by the citrus notes of sweet orange. It's a fine balance and does not overpower the smoothness of the other fragrances.
